Identification and interface products

Custom Metal Nameplates

Striker produces custom metal nameplates using engraving, anodize etching, screen printing, laser marking and etching, Metalphoto photographic aluminum, and other marking methods. Nameplates can be configured by material, finish, corner radius, mounting method, and fixed or variable data, with stocking available for repeat orders and future marking needs.

Serial and Identification Tags

Striker produces serial and identification tags for equipment, parts, assets, and assemblies. Tags can combine fixed or variable data, serial numbers, barcodes, logos, warnings, and other identification, with material, finish, size, shape, and mounting options selected for the application and coordinated with the required marking process.

Dials and Gauge Faces

Striker produces precision dials, gauge faces, speedometer faces, and instrument faces in metals and engineered plastics. Decades of miniature screen-printing experience support tight-tolerance, multicolor graphics, including work with up to seven colors on a 1-inch gauge face, for demanding instrument, control, and display applications.

Control Panels and Faceplates

Striker fabricates custom control panels, instrument panels, and faceplates for industrial, aerospace, and equipment applications. CNC fabrication, engraving, screen printing, paint filling, and related processes can be combined to produce precise panels with durable graphics, clear identification, and finished features matched to the drawing and end use.

Graphic Overlays

Striker produces graphic overlays for controls, equipment, keypads, and operator interfaces. Reverse printing on clear Lexan® can protect graphics from abrasion, chemicals, and wear, while clear or colored windows, cutouts, selective adhesives, protective layers, and finishes from matte to high gloss support the required function and appearance.

Decals and Roll Labels

Striker produces multicolor decals and roll labels for identification, instructions, warnings, branding, serialization, and barcodes. Options include die-cut or kiss-cut formats, reflective or tamper-resistant materials, and individual, strip, or roll supply. Roll labels can also be configured with or without pinholes and for the required dispensing orientation.

IUID Barcode Labels

Striker produces IUID barcode labels to meet MIL-STD-130 requirements, with certification packages built to the customer drawing or purchase-order callout. Verification can be provided by lot or, when required, by individual serial number or barcode. Verification must be specified before production because reports cannot be created after the verified parts have shipped.

Fabrication and Converting

3-Axis CNC Fabrication

Striker uses 3-axis CNC equipment to cut, drill, profile, pocket, and shape small parts, panels, plates, and related components. CNC fabrication can be coordinated with engraving, screen printing, paint filling, finishing, and other Striker processes so multiple operations can be completed through one source and kept aligned to the same drawing requirements.

Die Cutting

Striker die cuts films, labels, overlays, adhesives, and other thin sheet materials into repeatable custom shapes with holes, windows, slots, tabs, and related features. Kiss-cut parts remain on the adhesive liner for easier downstream assembly, while through-cut parts are supplied individually. The cut format is selected to suit the material and next assembly.

Lamination

Striker laminates films, graphics, adhesives, and protective layers for overlays, labels, panels, and related products. Temporary overlamination protects surfaces during fabrication, packaging, transport, and installation; permanent clear film can add abrasion and chemical protection; and adhesive lamination adds mounting capability selected for the specification and mating substrate.

Deep Etch

Striker produces deep-etched nameplates for harsh environments and applications that may require welding. Typical aluminum or stainless steel plates are approximately 0.020 to 0.032 inch thick and can use raised natural relief or recessed, paint-filled characters with natural or painted backgrounds. Passivation can be coordinated when required by the drawing or specification.

Part Finishing and Special Processes

Precision Part Painting

Striker provides precision painting for customer parts, components, panels, and assemblies where controlled coverage and finish quality are important. Painting can be combined with masking, screen printing, fabrication, and other processes. When a drawing requires a customer-approved supplier or NADCAP source, Striker coordinates the special process and supporting certification documentation.

Precision Masking

Striker provides precision masking to protect defined surfaces, features, holes, threads, contacts, and other areas during painting and finishing. Masking can support complex geometries and repeat production requirements while maintaining clean, controlled boundaries, and can be coordinated with precision painting and other fabrication or finishing operations.

Anodizing

Striker coordinates anodizing for aluminum parts where corrosion resistance, surface durability, appearance, or preparation for marking is required. Anodizing is performed to MIL-PRF-8625, formerly MIL-A-8625. When customer requirements call for it, Striker uses NADCAP sources and can include the related certifications with the completed fabrication and marking work.

Chem Film

Striker coordinates chemical conversion coating for aluminum parts to improve corrosion resistance and prepare surfaces for painting or finishing. Chem Film can be combined with fabrication, precision masking, marking, and other related operations so the part can move through a coordinated process rather than requiring the customer to manage separate suppliers.

Passivation

Striker coordinates passivation for stainless steel parts when required by the customer drawing or specification. The process cleans the part and prepares it for the next assembly, and can be scheduled with fabrication, marking, and other related operations so completed parts and supporting documentation move through a coordinated production sequence.

Heat Treating

Striker coordinates heat treating through NADCAP sources when required during manufacture of a graphic identification product, such as an aluminum dial or gauge face. Heat treating can be integrated with CNC fabrication, painting, screen printing, and other operations, with the applicable NADCAP certification included in the final certification package.

Graining

Striker provides grained aluminum for nameplates and related identification products when a consistent, professional surface appearance is required. Graining can be incorporated into the broader fabrication and marking sequence so the finished surface is coordinated with the nameplate design and the other processes used to complete the part.

Production Support

Stencils and Printing Screens

Striker produces custom stencils and printing screens for repeatable marking, painting, and production use. Designs can be prepared for specific parts, graphics, or processes to apply consistent text, symbols, logos, and other information. Available styles support both reusable and temporary applications, depending on the production requirement.

Specialty Packaging

Striker provides specialty packaging, including mil-spec packaging where required, for selected products it manufactures. Services can include inserting products, creating kits, and applying specialty part-marking labels to polybags before shipment. Packaging can be planned around the customer’s next assembly to simplify handling and delivery of completed parts.
