3M™ Nextel™ Roving 610 is made from 610 continuous filament ceramic oxide fiber. This material is designed to maintain strength while withstanding continuous high temperatures. Nextel roving 610 is ideal as a fiber reinforcement for high temperature composites. This roving can be used as an input material to create textiles for specific requirements. 3M™ Nextel Ceramic Fibers represent a major advancement in refractory fiber technology. The roving can be used to make a variety ceramic textiles including fabrics, tapes, sleevings and sewing threads. Because the fibers are flexible, continuous and strong, textiles can be produced without the aid of other fibers or wire inserts.
